Service Cancellations by RideCraft Motorcycle Training Due to Minimum Participation Numbers To ensure smooth operations for our scheduled courses, we require a minimum number of participants. This ensures that we can cover costs for staff and resources while sustaining our operations. Please note that RideCraft Motorcycle Training may need to reschedule a course if the minimum number of participants is not met. Although we will do our best to provide sufficient notice and help you find an alternative course date, RideCraft Motorcycle Training holds no responsibility for any claims arising from a course cancellation. If we need to cancel a course, all fees paid will either be credited to the new booking or refunded to you via the same method of payment.

Service Cancellations by RideCraft Motorcycle Training Due to Unforeseen Events RideCraft Motorcycle Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses in the event of unforeseen situations beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly and will have the option to transfer their enrolment to a future course or receive a credit. RideCraft Motorcycle Training holds no responsibility for any claims arising from a course cancellation. If we need to cancel a course, all fees paid will either be credited to the new booking or refunded to you via the same method of payment

Cancelling Your Booking To be eligible for a full refund, participants must notify us of their cancellation and submit a refund request at least 14 days before the scheduled course. This allows us to efficiently manage resources and offer the space to others. We appreciate your cooperation with this timeline, as it helps us maintain fairness for all participants.

Rescheduling Your Booking To avoid additional fees, please submit any rescheduling requests at least 7 days before your scheduled course. If you need to reschedule with less than 7 days but more than 4 days notice, a $150 re-scheduling fee will apply. This fee covers the administrative efforts required to adjust schedules and accounts for the loss incurred by not offering the spot to someone else. If you need to reschedule with less than 4 days notice you will need to pay the full price of the new course booking.

Participant Transfers Transfers of course bookings between participants are allowed, provided the transfer is completed no later than two days before the course starts. The new participant must meet the eligibility criteria for the course to ensure participation.

Course Credits Any course credits issued are at the discretion of RideCraft Motorcycle Training. If granted, these credits must be used within three months of issuance.

Weather Conditions Courses will run in various weather conditions unless the safety of participants is at risk, in which case a RideCraft Motorcycle Training official may cancel the session. Participants will be informed of such cancellations. Weather conditions refer to factors like rain, extreme temperatures, or strong winds. RideCraft Motorcycle Training holds no responsibility for any claims arising from a course cancellation. If we need to cancel a course, all fees paid will either be credited to the new booking or refunded to you via the same method of payment.

Failure to Attend If a participant fails to attend a course ("no show"), including for reasons like bad weather, work commitments, or vehicle issues, they will forfeit the entire booking fee and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

Eligibility Check and Required Documentation Participants must complete a Q-Ride eligibility check and provide documentation to prove their eligibility before the course. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they meet the criteria and submit the required documents. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the full booking fee.

Re-assessment Policy RideCraft Motorcycle Training is required to follow strict assessment criteria set by the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Participants will be assessed on each module’s competency, and a "competent" or "not yet competent" rating will be issued for each. If a participant is deemed "not yet competent," they will not be able to continue with the course and must book a new session for re-assessment, which may incur an additional fee.

Vehicle Requirements If a participant’s motorcycle is deemed unfit for use (including issues with registration, roadworthiness, or class eligibility), they will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling, and the full booking fee will be forfeited.

Participant Readiness To participate, individuals must wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes long pants, long sleeve shirt, closed-toed footwear, gloves, helmet, eye protection, hi-vis vest and a jacket (only required on road rides). RideCraft Motorcycle Training provides gloves, helmets, vests and jackets if needed. If a participant is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they will not be allowed to participate, and their booking fee will be forfeited. RideCraft Motorcycle Training reserves the right to determine a participant’s fitness to ride.

Damage Liability The participant is fully responsible for any damages to RideCraft Motorcycle Training’s motorcycles, equipment, or property. They must compensate for repairs or replacements within 14 days from the incident. The cost of repairs will be assessed individually based on the situation.

Q-Ride Program Terms and Conditions To ensure clarity and transparency, we provide all students with detailed information about the Q-Ride course requirements and expectations.

Licensing Information It is the participant's responsibility to understand the steps and requirements for obtaining a Queensland motorcycle learner's, provisional, or open license as outlined in the Q-Ride program.

Choosing Your Q-Ride Course Participants should ensure the selected Q-Ride course meets their needs and that they understand the entry and completion requirements. If unsure, we encourage you to contact us for clarification.

Acknowledgment of Terms By booking a Q-Ride course with RideCraft Motorcycle Training, you agree to comply with our booking policies, including our cancellation and refund terms.

Personal Protective Gear Participants are required to wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves, helmet, jacket, long pants, and protective footwear. RideCraft Motorcycle Training provides gloves, helmets, and jackets, but participants must bring their own pants, long sleeve short and suitable footwear. Personal helmets must meet Australian standards. Failure to wear the required gear may result in exclusion from the course, and the booking fee will not be refunded.

Punctuality Arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in exclusion from the course. In such cases, the participant forfeits the booking and must re-book and pay the full fee.

Motorcycle Provided by Participant Participants must ensure that their motorcycle is roadworthy, registered, and meets the course requirements. If the motorcycle does not meet these standards, they will be denied participation and will lose the booking fee.

Inappropriate Behaviour RideCraft Motorcycle Training does not tolerate disruptive behaviour, inappropriate language, or discrimination. Participants engaging in such behaviour will be removed from the course and will lose their booking fee.
Media Collection By participating, you consent to potentially having your image captured for promotional purposes by RideCraft.

Motorcycle Damage and Liability Waiver If using a RideCraft provided motorcycle, participants agree to follow the terms and conditions regarding damage and insurance coverage, including a waiver of liability for accidents or damage caused during the course.
